Here's a quick story of how I made $2625 in two hours of work apartment locating.
One morning I got a hit from one of my (many) apartment locating online ads. It was from a guy looking for a three bedroom apartment. He wanted to tour....like right the hell now.
So I scramble to get my clothes on and rush out to go meet him and his friends at the apartment complex. It was a brand new building with great pricing and specials going on.
We did the tour and the client signed on the spot.
As the clients were doing their paperwork I asked the leasing agent how much commission the building was paying.
125%, he said.
I freaked out
Holy shit! That's amazing I blurted out, unable to contain my excitement. It seemed unreal. Surely it couldn't be this easy right? There must have been a catch.
Nope.
My clients moved in shortly thereafter. A few months later I got my check of $2626 in the mail.
All in all it was less than two hours of work combining the phone call, the drive to the apartment, and the tour.
Just another day in the business.
